DAILY PUJA AND SEVA OF GODDESS HINGULA

Daily seva puja of The Goddess Hingula is being performed in the temple as per the following established programs.

5.15 P.M             Evening Majana

6.15 P.M             Sandhya Alati and Pana-Bhog

8:30 P.M             Pahada

Majana-

   Majana of Maa Hingula is conducted twice a day, once in morning before the Sun rises and again in the evening. Each Majana takes about one hour. In the Morning majana the deities are initially cleaned by sacred water. The Majana is conducted by the Dehuri. Then sarees, bangles(Chudi), Sindur, Alata and other dress materials along with ornaments are put on the deities.. The deities are also decorated with flowers of any five kinds, especially Mandar, Anlei and leaves like bail and barun leaves. The deities are made ready for Mangala Alati.

 

Mangala Alati, Pancha Upachar & BAL Bhog-

           After the Sunrise pancha-upachar is performed and then Bal-Bhog with incense sticks and deepa is offered to the deities simultaneously. The main items in the Bal-bhog are coconuts, seasame seed ladoo (Rasi Ladoo), Ukhuda (fried paddy sweetened by molasses),and other dry sweets

 

Kanika Bhog-

    After the Bal-Bhog, kanika Bhog is offered to the dieties.Subsequenty this kanika Bhog is made available for the devotees.

 

Madhyahna Bhog (Mid-day offering)

Madhyahna Bhog is offered to the dieties in the noon time. This Offerings includes Rice, Dalma, khir, curry  and khata (sour) etc.These Items are made available to the public  on special order.

.Day-time Pahada:-

      It is observed during the day time i.e. from 1:00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.  This is the rest time for the deities.

      But on special occasions like Sankranti, Hingula Yatra etc the temple remains open till mid-night, only night pahada is observed during these occasions.

Reopening-

The Temple is reopened at 4:00 PM

Evening Majana-

     Again in the evening majana of deities is performed. The same procedure is repeated in this event as in the morning Majana and the deities are made ready for sandhya Alati at 6.30 PM.

Sandhaya Alati and Pana Bhog-

       After the evening Majana Sandhya Alati of the dieties are performed. Pana Bhog made up of Banana, Sweets and ladoo etc.In this event the dieties are worshipped with incense sticks and deepa.

Ratri Pahada (Night)-

         After two hours of the sandhya Alati the deities go for ratri(Night) Pahada. The temple remains closed during this time
